Michael R. Beard, MD,

Family Medicine

United Hospital Center welcomes Arkansas native Michael R. Beard, MD, to UPC Whitehall Medical, a service of United Hospital Center. He joins the practice of Richard E. Vasicek, DO.

A graduate with honors from Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, he went on to the University of Arkansas College of Medicine for his medical degree. He also completed his residency in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

For a time, he was in solo practice at Bryant Family Clinic before becoming the medical director at Timberidge Ranch and Birchtree Communities. He also worked at Saline Wound Healing Center.

Dr. Beard is board certified in family practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
